Michael has been working as a painter and sculptor for over almost 20 years. His work has been exhibited in various galleries and museums throughout the country including The Carnegie Museum of Art, The Westmoreland Museum of Art, The McDonough Museum of Art, and The Mattress Factory. His collaboration with José Muniain on the short film installation “Navarro”, which documented his painting process was a finalist in the D.C. Independent Film Festival and was featured at the Austin Museum of Digital Art and The Urban Institute of Contemporary Art in Michigan. Current projects include permanent art installations at The Consol Arena Pittsburgh, Commissioned work for The New York Pro Surf Competition 2011 and The Quiksilver Pro France 2011, and his work will be featured in the upcoming film “The Trouble With The Curve” starring Clint Eastwood and Justin Timberlake.
