Sean Riva

Sean Riva has twelve years of photographic experience in the areas of art, lighting, fashion, studio, and web creativity. He is a published photographer in international magazines having traveled extensively and internationally for photographic assignments, both artistic and commercial. Riva's portfolio of nudes exudes sensuality and vulnerability within the natural contrast of ancient strata. These are Ilfochrome prints (formerly known as Cibachrome), which is a photographic process used for the reproduction of slides on photographic paper. The prints are made on a dimensionally stable polyester base, essentially a plastic base opposed to traditional paper base. Characteristics of Ilfochrome prints are image clarity, color purity, as well as being an archival process able to produce critical accuracy to the original slide. These prints are rear-mounted on dibond and front-mounted to non-glare Plexiglas & floated in custom maple frames. NOTE: It is anticipated that the specialized paper used in this process will shortly become unavailable, increasing the rarity of these prints
