Morrison Gallery first showed Kirkiles work in 2011 in a two person exhibition with painter Chris Armstrong. Kirkiles showed his iconic rule sculpture in a variety of materials in differing arrangements. More than a decade later, Kirkiles is still reworking this theme among other subjects becoming ever more involved in his studio process casting in bronze, and fabricating artworks with ever evolving textures and patinas
