Marc Rayner
Born 1959 in Woolongong, N.S.W, Australia.
1984 Tasmanian school of art. Life drawing, 2D studies, ceramics and sculpture.
1987 Northern metropolitan TAFE. Printmaking, life drawing and painting.
Currently living and working in central Sweden.
Social, political and historical themes form the spine of Rayner's work. The challenge of crystalising an image that evokes conversation and pokes at humanity's controversies, along with a never ending need to explore chosen mediums is what compels him to keep evolving.
